ABOUT ME
I've previously worked in financial services for a number of years, prior to undertaking my teacher training.
As part of my previous role I was required to educate apprentices at large companies on financial matters relating (but not limited) to debt, pensions and mortgages.
I noticed a huge gap in individuals' understanding of the financial tools that are available to them. My clients have been unfamiliar with the options they have had putting them at a disadvantage when making choices about their financial future.
MY SERVICES
I offer talks and workshops to those that would like to make better informed decisions regarding their financial future. I am able to simplify a complex field into understandable points that enables an individual to make decisions pertinent to them. I am able to speak on a number of financial matters that range from current accounts and saving tools to the variety of pensions in the marketplace. I also provide real life examples to ensure the information is relative to those I am speaking to.
Public Speaking
I relish the opportunity to engage with individuals from multiple walks of life in order to improve their understanding of finance. I am happy to tailor my presentations to suit the audience to ensure the information is relevant and interesting.
Educational Tools
My workshops and talks provide a robust educational platform for people to make educated decisions. These tools go beyond monthly budget planners to further discussions regarding credit reports and financial security. I look to educate and inform people of what is available to them and the benefits and drawbacks of each aspect.
Financial Literacy
Having spoken with professionals in both finance and education, they have all highlighted the complete lack of tools that educate people about the financial options available to them. My aim is to create a culture that promotes questioning and aids the decision making process as people progress through their life.
